Мари́я Ивановна Кривошля́пова (4 января 1950 — 13 апреля 2003, Москва) и Да́рья Ивановна Кривошля́пова (4 января 1950 — 14 апреля 2003, Москва) — сиамские близнецы. Классические ишиопаги (случай сращения брюшной полости, таза и нижних конечностей). Жили в России.

Сёстры Мария и Дарья родились с двумя головами, четырьмя руками и тремя ногами. Врачи сказали их матери, что они умерли от пневмонии, и забрали их.

В течение 7 лет в Институте педиатрии АМН СССР их изучал физиолог Пётр Анохин. Затем их поместили в Центральный научно-исследовательский институт травматологии и ортопедии. Там девочек научили передвигаться при помощи костылей и дали им начальное образование. В течение многих лет сёстры были объектом изучения для исследователей столь редкого случая dicephales tetrabrachius dipus. Ходить сёстры научились после многолетних тренировок, при этом каждая из них контролировала свою ногу. Третья нога была ампутирована в период подросткового возраста сестёр. Даже с костылями они могли передвигаться только очень медленно, каждый шаг требовал значительных усилий. Вследствие этого сёстры не были трудоспособны и жили на инвалидную пенсию. (В отличие от сестёр Кривошляповых сёстры Хенсел передвигаются без особых затруднений.)

When the ballet is finally held, the Prince becomes aroused by Hidalla's performance and tosses a rose at the stage. Intrigued, Hidalla continues strongly with her performance, and a terrified Irene commits suicide minutes before the final act. Shocked and enraged, Hidalla sets fire to the theater during the final act and is carried out by the Prince. The Headmistress is told that she is given the choice of a janitorial position and social ridicule and exile by peers at the school, or "the honorable decision" (her own death); while waiting in an official's office, she has a small glass of scotch and shoots herself in the mouth with the gun that was provided on the table. Hidalla is taken to the Prince's palace, where he brutally rapes her. The next morning she escapes the palace, only to stumble upon the school. She screams as she realizes her fate and the fate of the other girls: to become concubines and/or sex slaves for wealthy men, mostly the Prince. The last shot is a horse carriage, possibly carrying young baby girls to the school, coming through the gate, with the doors slamming behind it.

Argumento
Turingia, Alemania, en el siglo XX. Un grupo de chicas jóvenes se crio en un colegio dentro de oscuros bosques y lagos sombríos apagados. La joven Hidalla y sus amigas Irene, Vera, Blanka, Melusine y Rain son educadas en un mundo aislado: las chicas no saben nada de la vida fuera de los muros anchos y altos de la universidad.
