Hepburn had two miscarriages, one in March 1955,[99] and another in 1959, after she fell from a horse during the filming of The Unforgiven (1960). When she became pregnant for the third time, she took a year off work to prevent another miscarriage. Their son Sean Hepburn Ferrer was born on 17 July 1960. She had two more miscarriages in 1965 and 1967.[100]
