Hunt started dating actor Hank Azaria in 1994. They married in 1999, and divorced 17 months later.[1] She began a relationship with producer/writer/director Matthew Carnahan starting in 2001. With Carnahan she has a son, Emmett Carnahan born in 1998 and a daughter, Makena Lei, born in May 2004.[1][33] The couple split in August 2017
