Дэниэл — молодой и подающий большие надежды танцор. Но однажды его похищают прямо во время репетиции. Когда через несколько дней он возвращается домой, это совершенно другой человек. Выясняется, что похищение было организовано тремя женщинами, которые подвергли юношу изощрённому сексуальному насилию. Так как женщины всё время были в масках, юноша запоминает лишь татуировки, родимые пятна, цвет прядей выбившихся волос.

Daniel (Tom Long), an Australian classical dancer, is drugged and abducted in an alley by three hooded women. They proceed to hold him in an abandoned warehouse for about two weeks, mutilating him sexually and using him for their own physical and psychological gratification, before dumping him blindfolded from a car near his home.

Obsessed with finding the culprits, who he has reason to believe are from the vicinity, he dates every woman who bears a resemblance to his abductors, hoping to identify them. This leads him into trouble with the law, and to an eventual breakdown that may or may not prove cathartic. The film concludes on this ambiguous note, with Daniel weeping in the arms of a policeman.

Torv was born in Melbourne, Victoria, the daughter of Susan (née Carmichael) and Hans Torv. She grew up in Gold Coast, Queensland.[4] Her father was born to a Scottish mother in Stirling, Scotland; her paternal grandfather is of Estonian descent.[5] Her mother is of Scottish descent.[6] She is estranged from her father.[7] She has a younger brother, Dylan. Her paternal aunt is writer Anna Murdoch Mann, who was married for 31 years to media mogul Rupert Murdoch
